Made to order Camp Knife

This article illustrate an made to order camp knife as it progressed from sketch to the final work. 

I received this drawing from Stephen:

Here's the blade after grinding and hardening. Note the temper line:

The handle was assembled, but the filework was'nt made yet:

This is how the temper line looks like after several cicles of etch and sanding. The finish is 1200# sandpaper.
